All-on-4 dental implants – Placement

You will have an elaborate walkthrough regarding the procedure with our Doctors at Ashton Avenue Dental Practice. During the initial sessions, we discuss what you want with the pros and cons and your desire for an end result. Make sure you use this opportunity to ask and discuss your questions and concerns to our dentist if you have any regarding the procedure. Our Doctors will carry out several tests to determine if you are suitable for all on four implant retained dentures.  If you are a suitable candidate for the treatment, our dentists will further describe the core of the process and finalise further appointments.

The process to fit the implants includes calculating placements to your anatomy for optimum retention, measuring levels of bone to see if osseointegration (bone to fuse to implant) posterior two.

After positioning the implants, we allow the same time for your body to bond to the implant. So it becomes a strong anchor to secure the denture, then the abutments are attached.

Later post fitting your implants, you will have to book appointments so that we closely monitor your process of osseointegration through short appointments over 3 months waiting for the implants to become stronger, the duration of healing period also depends from person to person. Once osseointegration has occurred and been tested, we then can move onto the design of your smile; we must make sure the foundation is strong enough to last a lifetime of smiles. 😊
